Dr. R Raman has a blend of corporate and academic experience. He started his career with Godrej and Boyce and then ventured into the area of consultancy with - The Leading Edge Consulting Services. His Passion for academics led him into teaching assignment at Vellore Institute of Technology. Carleton University's Sprott School of Business, Canada gave him the platform for global exposure in teaching Information Technology while he was handling the teaching assignment with Kohinoor Business School along with the consulting assignment as an Information Technology Architect with the Kohinoor group of companies for the various verticals including Real Estate, Hotels, Hospitals, Education and Power Generation. He also taught at S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research Mumbai.
Dr. Raman is a Computer Science and Engineering graduate from Madras University, he completed his MBA in Information Systems from the same University. He furthered his education by completing his Postgraduate Diploma in Software Marketing, M.Phil (Management) and Ph.D in Information Technology Enabled Services Strategy. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and Six Sigma Black Belt Certified by RABQSA (Registrar Accreditation Board Quality Society of Australasia). He is also an Accredited Management Teacher, (a prestigious national recognition conferred by AIMA) and Green IT certified by ISEB.
His teaching and research area include Management Information Systems, Disruptive Technologies, IT Infrastructure Management, IT Project Management, Management of Information Technology Enabled Services and Green IT. He has published his research finding in serveral refreed journals and also has presented several papers in Indian and International conferences. |

Dr. Ajey Kumar’s research interest includes Wireless Networks, Mobile Computing, Location Based
Services and Spatial Databases. He was a post-doctoral fellow (PDF) at Institute for Advanced Studies
in Communications, UFCG, Brazil, from January 2009 to October 2011.
His research work has been published in various International Conferences and referred Journals.
He worked in the area of Location Dependent Information services and has proposed various cache invalidation
and replacement policies to improve the performance of it. In Wireless Sensor Networks,
algorithms were proposed that increase the network lifetime and can support large networks.
Under network traffic, a mathematical model was proposed to estimate the size distribution of packets in network traffic.
Currently, he is working towards integrated architecture that can provide better precision of mobile users and assist future location based services.
Apart from publishing his research, he has also delivered various Research talks at Annual Inter Research Institute Student Seminar
(IRISS) in 2004, 2005 & 2006, as well as a keynote address at IEEE Conference on Mobile Computing (M-COMP '06) organized by
IEEE - Kerala Section. He did his Internship at Telecom Network R&D Division, Samsung HQ, Suwon, Korea in 2007.

Prof. Pradnya
Purandare is a postgraduate from Pune University in Computer Management. She
was working as a Postgraduate Lecturer in Pune University colleges earlier and
carries rich experience of teaching various IT related courses from programming
to IT project management for more than 10 years. She has conducted several corporate
training programs in IT industry. Her research interest areas include Relational
Databases, Datawarehousing, Data Mining, Business Intelligence and has published
research papers in reputed international journals such as IADIS, European Conference
on Data Mining on web mining. She has successfully completed IT Project Management
course held by IIT, Bombay. She has guided several R&D projects of post graduate
students. |

Dr. Prasenjit Sen has a vast experience totaling more than 30 years in IT industry and also in scientific research. He had started his career in DRDO and later joined Air India's IT department from where he retired as CIO (Director IT).
He had continued his association in IT industry and thus worked for Hexaware and also in short stints as Consultant to John Keells in Colombo. He had virtually seen how the world of IT migrating from closed proprietary systems to open architecture to Open systems. Dr. Sen had all through kept some time for the academia, had a Post Doctoral assignment in Germany and some time as visiting faculty even when he was fully active in the industry. He had recently been associated as a Consultant to the Duke University at their off-shore campus at IIM-A. He is a Fellow of IETE and has been active in various fora of airlines IT industry, like, IATA IMC and Unisys airlines User Association (UAUA) and presented research oriented papers in such conferences. He is interested to pursue research in academic field particularly in the area of Project Management under Fuzzy environment, Software Engineering using Formal Methods, SW security aspect using Z specification language, etc. |

Prof. Joshi has presented research papers in national and international conferences and couple of her papers has got published in the journal of repute. She also had been a consulting editor for two books. Her forte is in Strategic Management, Marketing, Information Technology Management and Entrepreneurship. Prof Sadhana is in academics since 1999 and joined SCIT in 2005. She is presently working as Assistant Professor. Before joining academics she has completed Master of Computer Applications (MCA). During her internship she has worked with BARC, Mumbai on a research project for the Reactor Control Division. She has worked with Shivaji University and Pune University institute before joining SCIT.
Her area of expertise is software architecture and design. She has taught many courses as Advanced Algorithms, Data Structures and Programming Languages(C, C++, Java, VB, VB.Net). Currently, she is teaching courses such as OOAD using UML, Software Design and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) among others. Her research interest area is software reuse. She has guided students on several projects. She has published papers in national as well as international conferences. She has an experience of reviewing research papers for international conference.
She is mentoring SSM specialization. She has completed Symbiosis Faculty Accreditation Program Level-1 with grade A. She has also completed SAP Transactional Enterprise Resource Planning10 (TERP10) training. She has participated in several workshops and conferences in and outside Pune. |

Vasudeva is a postgraduate from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (Punjab
University, Chandigarh) and an engineering graduate from Sant Longowal Institute
of Engineering & Technology (Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar). She was
among the top 10 rankers in graduation at the University level. Her research
area was Data Compression and she has worked on Biomedical Signal Processing.
Her research work has been published in the Telecommunication Journal of BSNL.
She has received a certification in Internet Applications and Java from IIT Kharagpur.
She has taught for various professional and engineering courses for 4 years.
Her subjects included computer science subjects like Operating Systems, Data
Structures, Theory of Computer Science and Principles of Programming Languages.

Prof. Vijayakumar Bharathi. S is a Post Graduate in Commerce from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and in Management from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D at Symbiosis International University, Pune in the area of ERP for SMEs. He has over 19 years of experience including more than 5 years in the Industry at an Indo-Swiss JV manufacturing textile machinery. While at this company, in addition to his core functions of Costing & Banking, he was a part of the Task-Force on Business Process Mapping and MIS Reporting as part of the company’s ERP Initiative.
On the academic front he has taught a wide range of courses in commerce and management at reputed institutes in Coimbatore and Pune. He is an SAP-ERP trained and certified (SAP-TERP10) faculty on Business Process Integration from SAP and has more than seven years of experience in successfully planning, developing and conducting end-to-end SAP based ERP curriculum using SAP R/3, ECC 6.0 and SAP ByD. He has conducted ERP Workshops for Faculty Members in India and Malaysia. He is a member of the SAP Business ByDesign Enablement Project for Universities constituted by SAP AG Germany and has been invited to Germany to share his experience on curriculum development and conduct.
He has published over 50 publications in the form of articles on contemporary issues on Costing, HR, ERP and General Management and papers published in various conferences of National and International repute. Dr. Ganesh B. Janvale received post graduate and doctoral degree in Computer science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. His research interests include Human Computer Interfacing, Speech Signal Processing and Neuroscience (EEG and fMRI) and electromagnetism. He has published numerous research papers in various national and international journals. Currently, he is working on spoken language recognition, designing and developing of microstrip antenna and BOLD temporal and spatial patterns during the mental task using EEG and fMRI.

Prof. Sanjit Singh have got total work experience of 11½ years out of which 7 years were into the areas of sales and marketing in diverse industries comprising of courier, transport, international freight forwarding, logistics and pharmaceuticals, and associated with companies like Gati, Cipla, Zydus Cadila, AFL-DHL, Pafex-FedEx. Assignments handled were achieving sales target, business development, key accounts retention, marketing strategy implementation, managing distribution channels, services output level, team handling at regional level.
Passion for learning and acquiring knowledge has landed him into teaching and has been in this profession for the past 4½ years. Areas of interest in teaching are Marketing, Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export and Import Managements.
He received his Master’s degree in Management Studies from Bharati Vidypeeth, Pune. Now pursuing PhD program in management from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune in the area of customer loyalty in logistics outsourcing relationship.

Prof. Shaji Joseph is a postgraduate from Pune University and is pursuing his PhD in the area of organisational culture. He has travelled and worked in different parts of the country and has been very active in the Tribal Development Programs in Jharkhand. He has a work experience of almost 12 years doing both teaching and research. His research on EGS Maharashtra with IDS Sussex has been a seminal one and has been published by EPW. While Teaching at Kohinoor Business School he coordinated a series of newsweeklies in sectors of education, retail, real-estate, health care and hospitality. He is also very actively involved in the social field and is in the advisory council of an NGO he helped set up in Pune. His area of specialization is Organisational Behavior, Organizational Development, Business Ethics and HRM. He has been an affiliate professor of Sprot School of Business Carleton University Canada’s offshore campus in India. This has helped him fine tune his teaching through the close interaction with Carleton University professors. He has presented papers in national level seminars and also published articles, research papers and case studies in reputed journals. He has also successfully completed the Train the Trainer and Grid certifications. These certifications were extremely useful during the series of workshops he conducted for the JKTI teachers during 2008-09 period.

Prof. Suneel K Prasad is a Post Graduate in Computer Science & Engineering from “Indian Institute of Science”, Bangalore, a B Tech in Electronics and Communication from MCTE, “Jawaharlal Nehru University” and a PG Diploma in Management. He carries 24+ years of rich and varied experience of corporate, public and government sectors in Information Technology and Telecommunication domains. Prior to joining SCIT he was Senior General Manager IT and IT Head of a Pune based leading Software Product Development Company, and has earlier held different other important positions in IT and Telecom Industry, at the Defence Electronics Research Lab, DRDO and in the Corps of Signals, Indian Army. He has been a Commissioned Officer of the Indian Army, having taken an early retirement as a Lt Colonel.
Prof. Suneel K Prasad has extensive practical experience of IT and Telecom Projects as well as Operations; of their successful and effective planning, implementation and management. He has executed several major IT projects including design & development of integrated enterprise wide IT Solutions for corporate, IT Infrastructure implementations and management and execution of networking & information security projects. While at the Defence Electronics Research Lab, he was part of a prestigious national project, a software based systems development initiative in the niche area of electronics warfare system and systems simulation. Due to his keen interest in academics and teaching, he has earlier frequently taken up such assignments, both in the industry as a senior faculty wireless system at the Corporate Learning and Development Centre, Reliance Communications, as well as in the academic environment as a faculty in Electronics & Communications and IT at the College of Military Engineering, Pune. While at Reliance Communications, he developed and conducted several custom programs to enhance employee employability within the corporate and to enable new technology assimilation and turnkey human resource development so as to achieve rapid field deployments of identified technology initiatives.
