SCIT has MOU with reputed IT companies viz. Tech Mahindra & R-Systems for collaboration on various fronts. Through this, experts from Tech Mahindra have participated in delivering lectures at SCIT and providing industry internships.
  
 
 
Earlier collaboration with Sun Microsystems helped SCIT in setting up Sun lab and acquiring a suite of software.

SCIT has initiated efforts to become SAP University Alliance Partners and IBM University Alliance Partners. SCIT has also signed an MOU with BYST & NEN and facilitate students to become entrepreneur
