Gartner has identified five long-term, interdependent trends prevailing in enterprise software market as Globalization, Implementation, Modernization, Socialization and Virtualization. Gartner has also stated that the market-disrupting influences of SaaS, cloud-based services, open-source software, consumerization and Web 2.0 technologies will expand, while developing countries, including Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC), will prove themselves to be pivotal innovation and growth engines

SCIT (Symbiosis Center for Information Technology) understands that the rapid pace of change in Information Technology has been intimidating for large and small businesses. The level of difficulty in decoding the power of technology and associated engineering may be varying for different businesses considering their experience and expertise but one cannot overrule the inherent complexity of the field.

From this perspective, SCIT has planned to organize a two day International Research Conference with the theme “Emerging Information Technology and Engineering Solutions” The conference intends to address the solution space that has been created and enriched by the research in emerging IT and associated engineering practices. The two day International conference (EITES) would provide a platform to present research papers and case studies based on the conference theme by academicians and practitioners.

The objective of this two day conference to bring in academicians, researchers, students, industry experts, analysts, business managers and practitioners together and review the contemporary work happening in specific disciplines of knowledge.
