Eligibility Criteria for Admission
 

A regular graduate from any statutory University recognized by UGC with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grades if grades are given (45% for SC/ST Candidates). Candidates passing degree examination by part-time/correspondence/external course, or in one sitting are not eligible. Candidates appearing for Final year bachelor's degree examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks.

For MBA in Software Development and Management and MBA in Networks & IT Infrastructure preference will be given to graduates with Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Electronics and relevant work experience.

SCIT Shortlisting for GD-PI of Admission 2008
SCIT worked out the final score for consideration of the shortlist on the following basis.

Final Score =  SNAP Score
  + 10 points for Academic consistency
   (if more than 60% in 10th,12th and degree aggregate marks)
  + 5 points for Engineering degree
  + 3 points for Degree Computers/IT related
  + 5 point for work experience greater than 24 months .
