Master of Business Administration (MBA)
SCIT students of this stream are geared to take challenging positions in management of the IT Businesses using their management inputs and their industry familiarity. Through out these two years they have gone through the rigors of building a sound foundation and studying current practices of management, analyzing IT Businesses, IT Companies and their nuances supported by learning a range of topics in Information Technology.

Case studies related to IT Companies and others, market understanding of IT Products and services, hands-on projects in class working on real life problems in management, understanding and practicing technical assignments in computer labs reinforce their management fundamentals. The pilot projects typically on a real scenario like building business plan or preparing a global tender give them a flavor before their internships in the industry. Their leanings during nearly 4-month long internships are very valuable for a quick take off in the recruiting company.

Typically their internships involve projects on Market Analysis, Business Strategy for Sales, Business Development, Sales, IT Implementation Strategy, SOX Compliance Readiness, Design of Management Information Reports, and Business Processes Study for Information Security etc.

With this perfect mix of management knowledge and technical skills the ITBM students can be the right choice for handling management cadres within the IT Industry.
