Internships in the industry are extension of the 2-year or longer academic programmes at SCIT. It provides excellent opportunities for SCIT students to get a first hand experience of business realities. Before working as interns, SCIT's processes inculcate quality standards that students adhere to in various spheres such as programming languages, development of a solution, project execution etc. The curriculum also emphasizes the IT industry context and uses IT case studies. After getting honed in technical and managerial inputs, the "LIVE" environment of an internship project gives a new perspective that a classroom cannot generate. The internship programme therefore becomes an important component in the overall performance.

Students have consistently performed exceptionally in their internships, several having contributed to revenue earning projects in companies. 2 of our students were sent to U.S.A on their internships and like all SCIT students they have impressed companies with their quality.
