SCIT is in active collaboration with the leading software companies of the world with a view to further enhance its post-graduate programme. In the year 2001, IBM chose SCIT as one of the educational institutes under their 'University Programme' for supporting education with their software and expertise. SCIT uses IBM's well-proven software in its teaching. In the year 2002, SCIT collaborated with Sun Microsystems and started using their suite of software for web related projects and open systems. As an added facility for the students, SCIT has become the Authorized Thomson Prometric Center for conducting certification tests for reputed products of companies like IBM, Sun, Microsoft.
