Samarambh 2026: A Celebration of Tradition, Rhythm and Emotions

Samarambh 2026, SCIT's much-awaited cultural event, was held on July 03, 2026 brought together talents from different domains including dance, music, fashion, and theatre in a celebration that left the audience in awe from start to finish.
The evening opened on a devotional note with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by classical performances in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and Kathak that showcased discipline and years of practice. The energy then shifted as Bhangra, Bollywood, and Bollywood-fusion acts took over the stage, displaying talent like never seen before with even louder cheers from the crowd. The fashion show that followed told a striking tale of an age-old war between angels and devils. Angels graced the ramp in shades of white, gold, and silver, radiating purity and light, while devils commanded attention in red, black, and maroon, embodying rebellion and intensity. The visual contrast made for one of the evening's most talked-about segments.
The highlight of the night was the theatrical performance, "Bhavnao ki Adaalat." The plot followed Bunty, who stood in a courtroom, filing a case against criminals who could not be put on trial owing to their very nature - Monday, Memories, Time, and Fate. With an intriguing script and sharp direction, the performance had the audience alternating between laughter and awe. This was followed by a poetry recitation, "Krishna ki Chetavni," which brought a burst of energy to the auditorium. The evening drew to a close with a soulful musical performance by the college's talented singers and musicians, whose performances had the entire audience singing along in unison.
Samarambh 2026 was more than a showcase of talent, it was a celebration of expression, unity, and the creative spirit of SCIT.
