Connectopia: G20's Digital Renaissance-Corporate Charcha 2023

      

SCIT has conducted Corporate Charcha on the theme "Contextualising Information Technology in the G20 Discussions-Connectopia: G20's Digital Renaissance" in August 2023. Industry experts shared their views on sustainable IT, especially in the context of emerging technologies and cyber security perspectives.

Industry experts Archana Joshi, Nikhil Mahadeshwar, Rajeev John, and Aakash Ahuja actively participated in the discourse.

The session had highlighted the significance of sustainability and strategizing it.

"Corporate Charcha" aims to bring together industry leaders and domain experts who share their valuable insights on industry-relevant topics to give us an enthralling experience of the corporate world. This edition's theme deep dive into the ongoing G20 summit in India and how it impacts economies technologically. G20 or Group of Twenty serves as a crucial forum for major economies worldwide to discuss and coordinate economic policies. G20 member countries recognize the importance of information technology on the world economy and thus promote sustainability and inclusive growth. G20's agenda typically involves fostering digital infrastructure development, promoting sustainability, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and addressing data privacy and governance issues. To address these topics was the aim of this edition's Corporate Charcha which was titled as "Connectopia: G20's Digital Renaissance". The event was moderated by Anzar Malik, an SCIT student, who guided the discussions effectively. The panel discussion shed a light upon the digital infrastructure covering four domains that are Artificial Intelligence, Startups, Sustainability, and Cyber Governance as these are the subjects that have a crucial impact on shaping our digital landscape.
