National Seminar viz; NATSEM is a one-day national level event held every year at SCIT since 2000 as part of the activities and initiatives of the Placement committee, which provides useful insights in understanding the various dimensions of IT.
The prime objective of National Seminar is to assemble the like-minded intellectuals and professionals to trade ideas, thoughts, and views related to a delineated topic of IT. A conversational atmosphere is created, which allows for discussing related theme/topic and the chance to hear from other participants. By learning about new topics and meeting leaders in their field, students feel encouraged and motivated.
NATSEM gives a great opportunity to the students to interact with industry professionals and subject experts & chance to learn more effectively and efficiently in a learning environment that is distinct from classes. The students get a fair understanding of the current trends in the industry and gets an idea to prosper in their career goals. This interactive session through panel discussion of prominent personalities enable them to be updated on technology, corporate culture and happenings in industry. It helps the students to gain information about their way of work or how things take place, to assess themselves and improve in the areas in which they were lacking. Interacting with the industry experts and professionals will boost their confidence in the subject area that they are specialization.
