Deeksharambh - Welcoming the Batch 2025-27
Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) recently hosted Deeksharambh 2025, the official induction program for the incoming MBA batch of 2025-27. Spread across three insightful days - June 4th, 7th, and 10th - the program was meticulously crafted to ensure a smooth and inspiring transition for the new students into their academic journey.
The first day, June 4th, began with a warm Welcome Address by Director Dr Dhanya Pramod and faculty. This was followed by a detailed Committee Introduction, offering students a glimpse into the various student bodies and their vital roles in SCIT's vibrant culture. The day concluded with a thorough briefing on Campus Rules and Regulations, setting the tone for discipline and professionalism.
On June 7th, the students had the privilege of engaging with accomplished Alumni who shared their personal journeys, professional achievements, and tips on navigating life at SCIT. This was followed by a Specialization Introduction session, where students explored the two core paths offered-IT Business Management (ITBM) and Data Sciences and Data Analytics (DSDA). This interactive session helped many begin to envision their career trajectory.
The highlight of the program was the Main Induction Day on June 10th, graced by distinguished guests. The event featured an empowering address by Ms. Priyanka Raut, Director at PwC, who shared insights into industry expectations and leadership. This was followed by inspiring speeches from Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro Vice Chancellor, SIU, both of whom welcomed the new batch and emphasized the importance of holistic growth.
Deeksharambh 2025 was more than an induction - it was the beginning of new dreams, friendships, and the shaping of future digital leaders. With energy, excitement, and a shared vision, the SCIT family welcomed its newest members with open arms.
